MOOD || WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH BUSINESS?

"Leave you moods at the door".  

That is what we used to hear and say about moods in the workplace.  However, what this was actually was referring to, was not to bring a negative mood to work.  

We are always in a mood.  To be human is to be in a mood.  However, the skill is to recognise the mood that we are in and how that influences everything we do, from thinking, to speaking and to how we show up in a conversation.

Being aware is the first step and then consciously shifting that mood to one that will serve you, whatever you are doing.  

Awareness and the management of moods is one of the keys to high performance.
